David Carroll has extensive experience in aerospace engineering, currently serving as President of CU Aerospace since 1998 and as a Visiting Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since August 2011. Previously, David held leadership roles as CEO/COO of ATSP Innovations from 2011 to 2015 and Co-Founder of Autonomic Materials Inc from 2005 to 2011. David's academic career includes a tenure as a Research Scientist at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1992 to 1999 and technical experience as a Member of Technical Staff at TRW from 1987 to 1988. Academically, David earned a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign between 1981 and 1995.
