Michael Melendez is an experienced professional in the field of civil engineering and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development and Special Projects at CTS Engineering, Inc. since July 2022, Michael previously held the position of Construction Project Management Supervisor at Broward County Government from November 2016 to June 2022. Michael has also served as a Senior Project Manager at CTS Engineering from May 2015 to November 2016 following the acquisition of Genesis Enterprises & Engineering Services, LLC, where Michael was the Founder and Senior Project Manager from April 2011 to May 2015. Earlier career roles include Design Division Manager at GBF Engineering Inc. from August 2003 to April 2011 and Designer at the Florida Department of Transportation from April 1997 to August 2003. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, completed between 1991 and 1996.
