Charlyne Fothergill is an experienced HR professional with a career spanning over 10 years. Charlyne began their career in 2011 as an HR Generalist at Partnerpedia. In 2012, they joined GrowLab as Program Director, where they worked directly with the Executive Director to plan and execute programming for their cohorts. In 2014, they became Program Director of the Vancouver Campus at HIGHLINEvc. Charlyne then joined Launch Academy as a Mentor + Advisor in the same year. In 2020, they started working at CTO.ai as a Sr HR Business Partner. In 2021, they took on the role of Head of HR at Studio Decent, External Business Partner at Mogo, and HR Consultant + Startup Advisor at Sova Operations. Finally, in 2022, they joined TAP Network as Community and Partnerships.

Charlyne Fothergill obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Wollongong in 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a BFA from the University of Victoria in 2004, majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Theirtory and Geography. In 2021, they obtained an AWS Partner: Accreditation (Business) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2022, they obtained a Certified Talent Scrum Master certification from Agile PeopleOps Framework\u2122.
