Julie Banks is an experienced professional with a diverse background in writing, marketing, and legal support. Currently serving as a Contributing Writer for CTNewsJunkie since February 2021, Julie previously worked at The Center for Family Justice as a Marketing and Volunteer Coordinator, where responsibilities included enhancing social media engagement and revamping the organization's website. Additional roles include Food Pantry Coordinator for the Town of Monroe, CT, and various positions in the legal field, including IP Paralegal at Moyles IP and Patent Prosecution Specialist at GE. Julie's career also includes significant journalism experience, having worked as a Reporter for the Journal Inquirer and Naugatuck Daily News. Julie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Marist College and a certificate in Legal Studies from Naugatuck Valley Community College.
