Ian Elphinstone has a diverse professional background in geology, environmental science, and customer service. Currently serving as a Project Geologist I and previously as an Environmental Technician at CTI since May 2021, Ian has honed skills in project management and environmental analysis. Prior experience includes work as a Construction Laborer with Emiland Inc. Contracting from January 2013 to April 2021, a Barista at Michigan Dining from November 2017 to March 2020, and an Engineering Intern at Washtenaw County Road Commission in 2016. Ian also held the position of Retail Sales Associate at Gordon Food Service from August 2013 to August 2015. Academically, Ian holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences, as well as Germanic Languages and Literatures, from the University of Michigan, attended from 2016 to 2020, and a High School Diploma from Hartland High School, earned in 2014.
