Kevin Cuartas

Darpa Deputy Experimentation Lead at CTI

Kevin Cuartas has a diverse and extensive work experience. Kevin most recently served as a Senior Program Manager, Long Range Fires with Chesapeake Technology International (CTI) starting in August 2020. Prior to that, from July 2017 to April 2020, they held the position of Chief, Joint Interface Control Cell (PACAF JICO) at the 613 Air and Space Operations Center, where they directed a 21-member team responsible for planning and operating the Indo-Pacific datalink architecture.

From July 2015 to July 2017, Kevin Cuartas was the Commander of Detachment 2, 605 Test and Evaluation Squadron. In this role, they led a 20-member detachment in executing Operational Testing and Evaluation of the E-8C Joint STARS $20B program, overseeing test planning, execution, and reporting.

In their previous role at the 613 Air and Space Operations Center from July 2012 to July 2014, they served as the Chief, Defensive Operations, leading a 12-person team in executing theater defensive operations.

Earlier in their career, from May 2010 to April 2012, Kevin Cuartas served as the Chief, E-3 AWACS Tactics and Employment Division at the 552 Operations Support Squadron. In this role, they led a 33-person team responsible for tactics development, employment, and training for over 1,800 U.S. and Canadian E-3 AWACS aircrews.

Throughout their career, Kevin Cuartas has demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise in various roles within the defense and aerospace industry.

Kevin Cuartas obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University from 1996 to 1999. Kevin later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree at Trident University International. The specific dates for their MBA program are not provided.
