Shannon Pope has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Shannon has worked for various companies in different roles. Shannon started their career at DataQuest Technologies, where they served as a General Manager, Senior Systems Engineer, and Project Manager. Shannon then joined International Technology Solutions as a Senior Systems Engineer, Project Manager, and Technical Trainer. Later, they worked as an Independent Consultant, where they provided management and support for small ISPs and offered support for client networks. Shannon then joined PeopleFluent as the Manager of Systems Engineering, responsible for data center infrastructure. After that, they joined EMC as a Sales Engineer, supporting EMC core storage representatives. Currently, they are the Head of Global Customer Success at CTERA, overseeing customer success worldwide.

Shannon Pope obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 1992 to 1996.
