William England currently serves as Manager of Train Operations at CSX, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, William held various positions at Norfolk Southern Corporation from May 2016 to July 2023, including Sr. Road Operations Manager and Sr. Terminal Rail Operations Supervisor, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with training rules and investigating accidents. Additionally, William was an Assistant Trainmaster responsible for the operations of trains in Alabama and began their career as a Management Trainee at Norfolk Southern. William holds a Bachelor's degree in Sports Studies from Winthrop University, completed in 2016, and graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School in 2012.
