Ruth Esther Hernandez is an experienced program analyst currently working at the Center for the Study of Social Policy, where responsibilities include facilitating parent leadership cohorts and developing high-quality written products. Prior to this role, Ruth served as an engagement associate at the Center for Science in the Public Interest, managing relationships with grantees and collaborating on campaign strategies. Ruth has a diverse background in education, having led a preschool teaching team at the Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center and founded The First Generation Network at Denison University to support non-traditional students. Additional experience includes community health coaching, event coordination at the Center for Women and Gender Action, and various roles in child development and education. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Developmental and Child Psychology and Educational Studies from Denison University.
