Sharon McHale holds a significant leadership role at CSL Seqirus, serving as Vice President & Global Head of Corporate & External Affairs since March 2007, with prior positions that include Vice President & Global Head of Policy, Advocacy & Government Affairs, and Executive Director, Global Head of Corporate Affairs. In addition to their work at CSL, McHale has been a Board Member for Vaccines Europe since March 2017 and served as Vice Chair of the Vaccines Policy Committee for IFPMA from May 2018 to July 2024. Previous experience includes board membership at the Australian Science Media Centre and strategic advisory roles at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. McHale began their career in marketing and development at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement from RMIT University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business from Deakin University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Communications from RMIT University.
