Abheek Gupta has extensive experience in research and academia, serving as a Researcher at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from October 2019 to November 2023, and as a Junior Research Fellow at BITS-Pilani from January 2017 to November 2023 on a DST funded research project under Dr. Rajiv Gupta in the Department of Civil Engineering. Additionally, Abheek Gupta held assistant professor roles at Arya Institute of Engineering and Technology and Shankara Institute of Technology, focusing on courses related to Electronics and Communication Engineering. Since May 2011, Abheek Gupta has been involved as a Senior Project Associate at CSIR-CEERI, specializing in autonomous drone navigation utilizing Imitation learning on PX4 Autopilot with ROS and ROS2, a focus that began during an internship at the same institution.
