Neill Hart has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Neill began their career as an IT Manager at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) from 1988 to 1992. Neill then joined Dimension Data in 1993, where they held various roles including Presales, Presales Manager, and National Technology Manager until 2001.
In 2002, Hart became the CTO at Dimension Data, where they selected products for the company's portfolio, analyzed market research and competitive intelligence, and managed alliances with key technology partners. Neill also presented the company's value propositions to clients, press, industry, and financial analysts.
From 2005 to 2007, Hart took on the role of General Manager for Service Development at Dimension Data. Here, they led a team to define and develop new services, conducted cross-business workshops for business and functional requirements, and developed pricing models and go-to-market plans.
In 2007, Hart became the Solutions and Services Director for the Middle East region at Dimension Data. Their responsibilities included integrating an acquired IT infrastructure provider and managing and completing poorly scoped projects.
From 2009 to 2015, Hart served as the General Manager for Unified Communications at Dimension Data, where they set the strategic direction for sales enablement, go-to-market, and solution introduction across 16 countries. Neill also managed the introduction of new managed services and cloud-based solutions.
In 2016, Hart worked as an Interim Management professional for an unspecified company before joining Red Box Recorders as the Head of Product. In this role, they managed the full product lifecycle, ensuring products met market demands and linking product development with direct and channel sales.
Most recently, Hart has been the Head of Enablement at CSI Ltd (Computer Systems Integration Ltd) since 2017. Neill is responsible for helping clients securely transition their critical business applications to the cloud, utilizing a mix of cyber security, application software, and CSI PowerCloud infrastructure services.
Neill Hart completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town in 1981. In 1984, they pursued further studies at the same institution, earning a Bachelor of Science Honours (BSc Hons) degree in Computer Science. In 1998, Neill attended The University of Manchester, where they completed a Management Development Programme in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Finally, from 2004 to 2007, they studied at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English.
