Betny Townsend has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Betny is currently working at DISCO as the Director of Product Marketing since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Product Marketing Lead from April 2021 to March 2022 and Senior Product Marketing Manager from April 2019 to March 2021 at the same company.

Before joining DISCO, Betny worked as a Product Marketing Manager at Spredfast from February 2018 to March 2019. Prior to that, they held the combined role of Product Manager and Legal Counsel at Amne from September 2017 to February 2018.

Betny also has experience in the legal field, having worked as a Senior Associate at Reid Collins & Tsai LLP from September 2015 to August 2017. Betny started their legal career as an Associate at Keker & Van Nest in September 2012, where they focused on complex civil litigation, particularly intellectual property disputes. During their time there, they were part of a team that secured a complete defense victory in a patent trial for a prominent technology company.

In addition to their legal and marketing roles, Betny has experience as an Intern at the Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs in 2010 and as a Tour Guide at SANDEMANs NEW Europe Tours from July 2008 to March 2009.

Betny Townsend received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Astronomy from Yale University in 2008. Betny then pursued further education at Harvard Law School from 2009 to 2012, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
