Maija Kuhlman is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Director for CSC - IT Center for Science since January 2020, where responsibilities include managing the organization’s communication, reputation, and community impact. Prior roles include Head of Communications at CSC, where Maija elevated internal communication during the pandemic, and Communications Manager at Tamro Finland, focusing on employee and crisis communications. With a background that spans various sectors from telecommunications to health care, Maija has held positions as a communication consultant and specialist in companies including Pohjoisranta Burson-Marsteller, Paloma, and Communicea Oy. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Vaasa and certifications in business coaching and wellbeing. Additionally, Maija is a yoga instructor, teaching at multiple wellness studios.
