Richard Phillips has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Richard started their career as a Cashier at HSBC in 2002. In 2003, they joined Thomson Reuters, where they held various positions such as EMEA Data Helpdesk Analyst, EMEA Senior Data Helpdesk Analyst, Senior Data & Applications Support Executive, Data & Applications Data Specialist, Data & Applications Data Quality Manager, and Data & Applications Specialist Manager. At Thomson Reuters, Richard managed a team of specialists and provided expertise and support to internal and external customers in the financial markets. In 2016, they founded ESG Designs and worked as the Lead Software Engineer until 2018. Since 2018, they have been serving as the Chief Technology Officer at CryptoIndexSeries, leading the development efforts for market data and trading solutions in the emerging Crypto finance markets. Richard's responsibilities include managing development staff, shaping product offerings, managing cloud resources, and developing market data network and infrastructure.

Richard Phillips attended the University of Exeter from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
