Carly Sutton is an undergraduate at UCLA, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. As the Journal Club Director for the UCLA Neuroscience Undergraduate Society since September 2022, Carly also serves as an External Communications Intern. Carly's research experience includes roles as a Lab Manager In-Training and Research Assistant at the Passionate People Project and currently as a Research Assistant in Dr. Catherine Cahill’s Pain and Addiction Lab at UCLA, leading a study on pain's effects on food motivation in mice. Additional involvement includes serving as a Neuroscience Specialist for CruX at UCLA, participating in the Career and Professional Development Committee for the Life Sciences Student Association, and holding the position of Director of Education and Instructor at Kids In Nutrition. Carly's professional experience spans diverse roles, including a Marketing Ambassador for La Colombe Coffee Roasters and internships at Amgen. Educational background includes studies at Maastricht University scheduled for December 2024 and prior attendance at Moorpark High School and Moorpark College.
