Thomas Bakane is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering Design at Crusoe since September 2024. Prior to this role, Thomas held positions including Lead Mechanical Engineer at Tesla from May 2023 to September 2024 and Principal Engineer at Amgen from April 2015 to May 2023. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Mccracken & Lopez Engineers and as a Mechanical Engineer at The RMH Group, Inc., as well as at a consulting firm from July 2001 to March 2009. Thomas Bakane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from North Carolina State University.
