Rika Ono has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rika started their career as a Head of Staff Coordinator at UCSB First in 2014 and then transitioned to the role of Fundraising Student Ambassador at UCSB Annual Fund in 2014. In 2015, they became the Head of Annual Fund Partnership at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

In 2016, Rika joined Workbridge Associates as a Technical Recruiter and quickly rose to the position of Team Lead, Staffing Solutions. During their time at Workbridge Associates, they received several awards and recognition for their performance and achievements.

From 2016 to 2021, Rika worked at Motion Recruitment as a Team Lead, Staffing Solutions. Here, they contributed to staffing solutions and played a key role as a team lead.

Currently, Rika is working at Crunchyroll as a Technical Recruiting Manager. In this role, they are responsible for technical and business recruiting for US roles and is spearheading recruiting efforts in Japan. Crunchyroll is a global platform that connects anime and manga fans worldwide, offering a wide range of content and experiences.

Rika Ono obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Technology Management from UC Santa Barbara. In September 2021, they obtained the Textio Inclusive Recruiting Certification, and in July 2022, they obtained the Textio Interrupting Bias in Hiring Certification.
