Colin Farnell has a strong background in product management and web project management. Colin is currently working at Crunchyroll as a Senior Product Manager since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at athenahealth as a Senior Manager of Product Management from August 2021 to July 2023. Colin has also gained extensive experience at PlayStation Network, where they held two different product management positions. From September 2015 to August 2021, Colin served as a Product Manager - Subscription Commerce, and from May 2010 to August 2015, they were a Product Manager - Digital Supply Chain. Before joining PlayStation Network, they worked at SAIC as a Web Project Manager from April 2005 to May 2010. Prior to that, Colin worked at Gateway as a Project Manager from June 2002 to October 2004. Colin'scareer began at Student Advantage, where they held two roles simultaneously. From October 1999 to June 2002, they were a Technical Web Producer for Collegeclub.com, a division of Student Advantage, responsible for analyzing technology requirements and integrating functionality and content. At the same time, they also served as a Web Software Developer, designing, developing, testing, and deploying web applications. Colin's early career also included a role as a Quality Assurance Analyst at CollegeClub.com from October 1999 to July 2000.

Colin Farnell obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Washington State University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Colin also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems and Services during the same period from the same university. In addition to their academic degrees, Colin has obtained several certifications, including being a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in April 2014, a Pragmatic Marketing Certified in February 2013 from Pragmatic Marketing, and a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in January 2011.
