Sean H. is a seasoned Principal Software Engineer with extensive experience in firmware development and system architecture, currently at Cruise since December 2021. Sean has contributed to significant projects across multiple companies, including Happy Health, Amazon Lab126, and AWS, focusing on embedded systems, Linux OS, and machine learning accelerators. As a founding board member of the Yocto Project and the Openembedded Project, Sean has played a pivotal role in the open-source community. Sean holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University.
