Raya Islam is a highly skilled Senior System Engineer at Cruise, with a career focused on advancing LiDAR technology and automotive functional safety. Previously, Raya held positions as a Senior Systems Engineer at Ouster and Sense Photonics, where significant contributions included leading systems engineering efforts for ISO 26262 compliance, developing scalable LiDAR characterization infrastructure, and mentoring junior engineers.
