John Deniston is a highly experienced professional in strategy and operations management, currently serving as the Senior Staff Strategy & Operations Manager (Chief of Staff, Operations) at Cruise since August 2023. Previously, John held various leadership roles, including Head of Fleet Operations at Embark Trucks, where significant achievements included expanding testing operations and integrating 24-hour operations. At Cruise, John enhanced operational processes and led multiple initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic. John served as a Reserve and Active Duty Officer in the United States Air Force, displaying leadership in special operations. John holds an MBA from Stanford University, a Master of Arts in Strategy and Security from the Australian Defense Force Academy, and a BA in Political Science and Government with a concentration in Asian Studies from Pepperdine University.
