Ulrika Mårtensson, PhD, is an accomplished professional in the life sciences sector, currently serving as Director of Business Development at CRS Clinical Research Services since November 2022. Ulrika also works as a Business Coach and Mentor for life science start-up companies from September 2022. Prior to these roles, Ulrika held the position of Senior Business Development Manager at Invest in Skåne, focusing on attracting international investments and managing EU-funded projects within the life sciences realm from April 2017 to November 2022. Ulrika's extensive experience at Zealand Pharma A/S from June 2008 to March 2017 included roles as External Innovation/Evaluation Manager and Senior Scientist, where responsibilities encompassed scouting drug candidates and establishing collaborations with academic institutions. Earlier academic engagements include a Post Doctoral Fellowship at Lunds universitet and multiple educational pursuits leading to a PhD in Medical Sciences from Lund University.
