Nicola Thompson is an experienced UX designer and consultant currently working as a Freelance UX Designer while also serving as Head of Interaction/UX Design at Crownpeak since July 2016. Nicola has a robust background in user-centered design, having developed and implemented design processes at ActiveStandards from 2005 to June 2016, where key contributions included integrating UX into agile development and achieving ISO 9241-210 certification for design processes. Previously, Nicola held the position of Head of Design at Magus, managing a team focused on digital strategy for blue chip companies, and has worked as a web designer across various organizations since 1994. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Fine Art from London Metropolitan University and a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London.
