Jud Hewston has extensive work experience in maintenance and engineering roles. Jud started their career in 1999 as a Process Control Technician at Continental Carbon and then worked as a Lead Electrician at The Andersons, Inc. in 2002.

From 2002 to 2004, Hewston served as a Maintenance Supervisor at Louisiana-Pacific Corporation. Jud then joined Bush Hog, Inc. as a Maintenance Specialist from 2005 to 2008.

In 2008, Hewston joined Cargill as a Maintenance Supervisor and worked until 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Maintenance Manager at Grede Foundries.

Hewston's next role was as a Maintenance Superintendent at Zilkha Biomass Energy LLC from 2014 to 2015. In this position, they were responsible for overseeing installation and start-up of equipment, developing a preventive maintenance program, and creating a critical spare parts list.

Currently, Hewston is employed as the Chief Engineer at Crown Health Care Laundry Services, LLC. starting from November 2015.

Jud Hewston attended WCCS from 1993 to 1995, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Electricity. During their time at WCCS, their field of study was also Industrial Electricity. In addition to their formal education, Jud has obtained certifications in Alabama Electrical Contractor from the Alabama Electrical Board of Contractors in November 2022, and Solving Business Problems from LinkedIn in October 2019.
