Jānis Timma has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Jānis started as an Intern at PwC in 2009, then moved on to become the Head of Energy sector at BDO in 2011. In 2012, they became the CEO of Heat and Power Plant Association of Latvia, and in 2015 they became the CEO of Eco Energy Riga. Jānis currently holds the position of CEO at CROWDESTOR, a role they have held since 2017.

Jānis Timma attended Latvijas Universitate from 2007 to 2012, studying Finance and Financial Management Services. Jānis also attended Biznesa augstskola Turība from 2008 to 2013, studying Legal Studies, General.
