Sarah Basenese is a Medical Device Integration and Cybersecurity Analyst at Crothall Healthcare since July 2023. Prior to this role, Sarah served as a Clinical Engineer at UConn Health from August 2021 to May 2023. Sarah's research experience includes work as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, focusing on Polyethylene Glycol Microspheres Conjugated with Hemoglobin as Artificial Red Blood Cells, where skills in microsphere creation, testing, and data analysis were developed. Additionally, Sarah gained insight into prosthetics and orthotics through a shadowing experience at Hackensack Meridian Health in June 2019. Sarah holds a Master of Science in Biomedical/Clinical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Rutgers University.
