Layla Spanenberg, RPh, MS has a diverse work experience. Layla currently holds the role of Pharmacy Manager at CVS Health, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they served as a District Support Pharmacist at CVS Health from September 2021 to February 2023. Layla has also been actively involved in various organizations. Layla held positions on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Indiana, serving as Vice Chair from May 2022 and Director from May 2014 to May 2022. Layla is a National Committee Member for Order of the Arrow BSA since December 2021. Layla has also contributed to Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America, where they held the role of Vice President, District Operations starting from January 2019. Additionally, Layla has been involved with Carmel Clay Schools as a volunteer since August 2004 and served as a School Board Member from July 2010 to January 2023. Layla has also been the Region 5 Director for the Indiana School Boards Association from December 2018 to October 2022. Layla's earlier experiences include being a Tiger Cub Spring Recruitment Chair for Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America from January 2012 to May 2014. Layla began their career as a Pharmacy Manager at Walgreens Pharmacy from August 1994 to October 2000 and also worked as a Pharmacist at Wishard Health Services from 1995 to 1998.

Layla Spanenberg, RPh, MS began their education at Purdue University in 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy in 1994. Layla then pursued further education at Purdue University, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology from 1994 to 1995. In addition to their educational background, Layla holds several certifications including Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) obtained from the American Heart Association in January 2021, Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery obtained from the American Pharmacists Association in April 2014, and a pharmacist license obtained from the State of Indiana in July 1994.
