Luis M. Montilla is a Technical Community Manager at Crossref since August 2023, with a robust background in marine ecology and biological sciences. Prior to this role, Luis served as a Ph.D. Student at Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn from October 2019 to September 2023, focusing on invertebrate-microbial symbioses in seagrass ecosystems through various analytical approaches. Additional experience includes positions as Managing Editor at DOAJ, Researcher at the Laboratory of Experimental Ecology, and teaching and consulting roles at Simón Bolívar University.
