Charles Devereux is an experienced professional in railway operations and consultancy, currently serving as an Expert Adviser at Crossrail International since October 2018 while also operating as a Consultant for Devrail, a consultancy Charles established in December 2012 after leaving their role as Head of Rail Operations at Crossrail. With a robust background in rail management, Devereux has held significant positions at Crossrail, including Interface Manager, and has prior experience in carrier services sales at Global Crossing and infrastructure management at Racal Telecom. Devereux's career began with British Rail, where foundational roles laid the groundwork for expertise in both operational and strategic aspects of railway systems. Devereux holds an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
