Mason Weems has worked for a variety of companies since 2004. Mason began their career at Brady Trane as a Solution Sales/Project Manager, where they were part of the Performance Contracting sales team responsible for selling the first state wide performance contract in NC. In 2006, they joined Venture Management Inc. as a Principal. In 2008, they attended NC State University and IAE Aix en Provence, graduating with a Master of Global Innovation Management and a MsBA. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at Navigant Consulting as a Consultant, focusing on non labor hospital cost reductions. In 2011, they co-founded Sustainable Industrial Solutions, working with organizations on reducing their energy costs in a fiscally responsible and environmentally intelligent way. In 2015, they co-founded ndustrial.io, a company dedicated to the next industrial revolution. In 2016, they became Assistant Vice President at Integro Insurance Brokers and President of Safe Descents, a contractual reimbursement company. Most recently, in 2020, they became Director of Product at CrossnoKaye.

Mason Weems obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from University of Richmond - Robins School of Business in 2002, majoring in Economics and Marketing. In 2008, they completed a Master of Global Innovation Management from Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management - IAE and North Carolina State University, with a focus in Innovation.
