Don Darling has been working in the tech industry since 1980. Don started their career at Synertek as Quality Manager and then moved to AMD in 1985 as Reliability Engineering Manager. In 2005, they joined Spansion as Director Customer Quality Engineering, followed by Cypress Semiconductor Corporation in 2015 as Director Reliability Engineering. Most recently, in 2017, they joined Crossbar Inc. as Sr Director Quality and Reliability.

Don Darling attended the University of the Pacific from 1974 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Don then attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1977 to 1980, studying Physics.
