Yvonne Johnson has held multiple roles throughout their work experience. Yvonne began their career in 2006 as a Senior Accountant at Spring Branch ISD. In 2007, they joined Galena Park ISD as an Executive Director for Business Services and later transitioned to the role of Executive Director for Treasury & Capital Projects Management. In 2020, they became President of the Board of Managers at Shepherd ISD. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Crosby Independent School District.

From 1998 to 2000, Yvonne Johnson pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General at Sam Houston State University.
