Sarah Neidert is currently the Library Director at Cromaine Library. Prior to that, they were the Head of Collections and Public Relations at Brighton District Library from January 2017 to October 2022. In that role, Sarah provided leadership and strategy for the materials and public relations of the library. Sarah also managed the collection budget, public relations team and website, and enjoyed regular shifts on the reference desk.

As head of collections at Brighton District Library, Sarah created and monitored the materials budget allocation to all departments and assigned collection development projects. Sarah evaluated and selected print, electronic and non-traditional resources to develop and maintain the collection with input from subject selectors. Sarah also had the privilege of purchasing all adult fiction materials and Library of Things items.

As head of the public relations team at Brighton District Library, Sarah coordinated cross departmental marketing and publicity for the Library; supervised the Media Relations Coordinator, Community Relations Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator, and managed the PR budget. Sarah created and maintained the public website using WordPress, as well as the internal intranet.

Prior to their role at Brighton District Library, Sarah was the Head of Information Technology Services at another library from October 2012 to January 2017.
