Timothy Glover

Chief Mission Integration Officer & EVP at Crittenton Hospital Medical Center

Timothy (Timm) L. M. Glover, M.Div., serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Mission Integration Officer for Ascension.

As a member of the Ascension Leadership Team, he provides strategic leadership to advance the commitments that make evident the identity of Ascension as a ministry of the Catholic Church, continuing the healing mission of Jesus with special attention to persons living in poverty and those most vulnerable. Together with all others who serve in Mission Integration as a Ministry-wide Function, he assures the evolving initiatives, programs and resources that support the One Ascension journey, engaging the gifts of all for the sake of their Mission. In addition, Mr. Glover supports the Mission Committee of the Ascension Sponsor.

Prior to this role, Mr. Glover served as Senior Vice President, Mission Integration at Ascension. In that capacity, he provided spiritual, strategic and collaborative leadership to help deepen integration of Ascension’s Mission, Vision, Values and Catholic Identity throughout all sponsored ministries and partnerships.

Before joining the System Office in October 2013, Mr. Glover served Ascension as Senior Vice President, Mission Integration, Chief Mission and Ministry Officer at Saint Thomas Health, part of Ascension in Tennessee. Prior to that, he served as Vice President for Mission Services and Leadership Formation at Saint Thomas Rutherford, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Prior to these executive roles he served as a Chaplain and then Coordinator of the Stress Reduction Program and Consultant in Organizational and Change Management for Saint Thomas Hospital.

Prior to his roles in healthcare, Mr. Glover served as a director for a pastoral counseling center and provided individual, couple and family pastoral psychotherapy as a licensed Clinical Pastoral Therapist in Tennessee.

Mr. Glover is a member of the 2020 cohort of the Ascension Leadership Academy and participated in the Ascension Foundations of Ministry Leadership formation program. He holds a Master of Divinity degree in Pastoral Psychotherapy and Family Systems from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky.

Mr. Glover lives in St. Louis with his wife, Sue.
