Caroline Mercier has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Caroline worked at Critical Mass from January 2019 to April 2021, initially as an Associate Content Analyst and later as a Senior Content Analyst. Caroline then joined Cascade Swim Club in September 2021 as an Assistant Swim Coach. Prior to that, they worked at University of Calgary Swim Club as a Squad Lead Coach from September 2018 to September 2020. From September 2015 to August 2018, Caroline served as an Assistant Swim Coach at Fredericton Aquanauts Swim Team. Caroline also worked as a Head Lifeguard at UNB URec from September 2014 to August 2018. Additionally, they gained experience as a Sports Editor at Brunswickan Publishing Inc. from April 2017 to April 2018. Caroline also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Arts, University of New Brunswick in September 2017. Caroline served as a Hall Proctor at University of New Brunswick Residence Life from September 2015 to May 2017. In May 2016, they worked as a Summer Monitor at University of New Brunswick Conference Services. Lastly, Caroline worked as an LGBTQ Representative at UNB Student Union from October 2014 to April 2016.
Caroline Mercier obtained their Dogwood Diploma from Lord Byng Secondary School between 2009 and 2014. Caroline then pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Gender and Women's Studies at the University of New Brunswick from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, in June 2017, they obtained certification in NLS (National Lifeguard Service) from Lifesaving Society Canada.
