Alexis Friesen's work experience begins in 2013 at ATCO Group, where they worked as a Summer Student, compiling reports, assisting in business planning, and managing risk and information security.
In 2014, they continued their summer work at ATCO Power Canada Ltd, where they created a model to predict electricity demand and provided assistance in various tasks for different teams.
From 2015 to 2016, Alexis worked as a Real Time Analyst at ATCO Power Canada Ltd, optimizing energy offers, reporting on performance, and maintaining an understanding of generating assets.
In 2016, they joined Critical Mass as a Marketing Science Analyst, where they developed scripts, assisted in creating marketing measurement scores, and implemented audience targeting strategies.
They were then promoted to Marketing Science Senior Analyst at Critical Mass in 2018, where they ran customer segmentation projects and collaborated on an employee retention project.
Currently, Alexis works at Critical Mass as a Marketing Science Lead, where they design and run training sessions, oversee campaign reporting for BMW USA, and act as a career developer for mentees.
Alexis Friesen has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Applied Mathematics, which was obtained from the University of Calgary between 2011 and 2015. In 2017, Alexis also earned a Professional Certificate in Data Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, Alexis holds a Google Analytics Certification, which was obtained in March 2017.
