Ana Mota has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ana began their career as a Freelance Web Programmer and Designer from 2000 to 2004. Ana then worked at the Laboratory for Speech Processing, Electroacustic, Signals and Instrumentation, where they served as a Software Developer, Researcher, and Intern.

In 2004, Ana joined Critical Software, SA as a Software Engineer, working on database systems and software design and implementation. Ana later became a Project Leader and Senior Software Engineer, handling international projects and managing customer expectations.

From 2009 to 2012, Ana worked at Critical Manufacturing as a Technical Manager and Project Coordinator, focusing on database design, data migration, and ETL application demand and design.

In 2012, Ana held the position of Senior Database Engineer at both InovRetail and ISA - Intelligent Sensing Anywhere, where they gained expertise in database management.

From 2013 to 2016, Ana joined CRITICAL Software as a Senior Engineer and Scrum Master, demonstrating their skills in agile project management.

Ana returned to Critical Manufacturing in 2016 as a Principal Software Engineer and eventually took on the additional role of Product Support Manager in 2020.

Throughout their career, Ana has shown proficiency in software engineering, database management, project leadership, and customer/stakeholder management.

Ana Mota graduated from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto in 2004 with a degree in Computer/Software Engineering. In 2008, they obtained the OCA certification from Oracle in the field of Database Administration (DBA). Additionally, in 2015, they obtained the Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance.
