Roqaya Naseri is a Mechanical Engineering student at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, expected to graduate in December 2023. Currently serving as a Project Engineer Intern at Critchfield Mechanical, Inc. since June 2023, Roqaya previously gained experience as a College Corp Fellow with AmeriCorps, partnering with nonprofits to address climate action and support small businesses. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at California Polytechnic State University, Roqaya conducted thermal comfort analysis using MATLAB, Excel, and EES reports. Earlier roles include serving as Day Activities Coordinator at the EPIC California Polytechnic Engineering Camp, where supervision and course planning for students were key responsibilities, and as Assistant Manager at Famous Footwear, focusing on customer service and team coordination.
