James Ingram serves as a Public Safety and Policing Advisor at the Department of Justice Canada since January 2024. In addition, James holds various roles at Maritime Business College, including Director of Faculty, Head of Department for Human Services, and current instructor for the counselling skills program. As an instructor, James is affiliated with several organizations, such as the Crisis Prevention Institute, Mental Health First Aid Canada, LivingWorks, and the Crisis and Trauma Resource Institute. James is also the Clinical Supervisor at The Salvation Army and the owner of Ingram Counselling, which offers education on mental health and trauma. Previous experience includes a teaching role at The Mandt System and online counseling as a contract therapist at Hasu Counselling. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Dalhousie University and a diploma in Counselling Skills from Success College.
