Vanessa MacOy (Tess they/she)

Clinical Manager at Crisis & Counseling Centers

Vanessa "Tess" Macoy is a seasoned professional in the fields of social work and health equity, currently serving as the Clinical Manager at Crisis & Counseling Centers since May 2020. Tess also holds the position of Director of LGBTQ+ Services and the Maine AIDS Education and Training Center with Health Equity Alliance, contributing since January 2015. Previous roles include HIV case manager at Frannie Peabody Center (2017-2018), Executive Assistant for the State of Maine (March 2013 - January 2015), Field Director for the Maine Democratic Party (June 2012 - November 2012), and Program Associate at the National LGBTQ Task Force (February 2010 - June 2012). Tess earned a Master of Social Work with a focus on Trauma Informed Practice and Diversity in Aging from the University of New England (2018-2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from the University of Mary Washington (2003-2007).
