Kallol Sarkar has extensive work experience in the field of sports video content production and operations. Kallol began their career as an Assistant Producer at Neo Sports Broadcast Pvt. Ltd, where they worked on various shows and tournaments, such as Dial 'C' for Cricket and UEFA Euro 2012. Sarkar then joined Star TV Network as an Associate Producer, where they managed day-to-day sports video content operations and reported on major cricket tournaments and matches. Kallol later moved to Hotstar as a Senior Producer, where they played a key role in managing daily sports video content operations and producing shows such as Jio Cricket Hotspot for IPL and Bol Viru Bol Season 2. Currently, Sarkar is working as the Head of Video Content Operations at Cricbuzz.com.

Kallol Sarkar has a diverse educational background. Kallol obtained their Master of Mass Communication degree from the Symbiosis Institute Of Media And Communication in Pune, completing their studies from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Sathyabama University from 2005 to 2009.

Additionally, Kallol Sarkar attended Delhi Public School in Rourkela for their high school education from 2003 to 2005. Kallol had also completed their schooling from the same institution from 1992 to 2005.
