Roy Verdegem has over three decades of experience in network engineering and support. Currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer at CRH since February 2007, Roy manages WAN connections across approximately 200 sites in The Netherlands and facilitates connectivity for CRH company sites worldwide. Responsibilities include overseeing video conferencing, secured internet access, WLAN, remote access services, and the operations of two data centers in Amsterdam and Brussels. Prior to CRH, Roy held positions at KPN from August 1999 to January 2007 as a Senior Service Operator and Field Engineer, focusing on network troubleshooting and customer reports. Earlier career experience includes various roles at Install Data/MSO, beginning in warehousing and advancing to technical repair of printers and PCs. Educational background includes studies at Delft University of Technology and The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
