Shivani Subhedar is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in global health and advocacy. Currently serving as National Co-Chair and Vice President of Advocacy for the Global Surgery Student Alliance since January 2022, Shivani has effectively managed social media and advocacy initiatives. Additionally, as a Research Assistant at Crestwood Medical Center, Shivani is involved in a study evaluating postoperative pain management. With prior roles at the Association of Women Surgeons, Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine, and various organizations focused on health innovation and education, Shivani has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing health care through research, collaboration, and event planning. Shivani's educational background includes pursuing a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine, complemented by a Master of Science in Global Health Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from UCLA.
