Kirsten Seagrave Millung is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, particularly within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at Veren since January 2015, Kirsten specializes in drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements, as well as analyzing oil and gas contracts relevant to Crescent Point’s operations. Previous roles include Legal Land Analyst and Student-at-Law at Crescent Point, where Kirsten conducted legal research and drafted findings, and Mineral Land Negotiator at Standard Land Company Inc., handling regulatory and legal matters pertaining to compulsory pooling applications. Further experience includes a summer position at Stikeman Elliott LLP focusing on legal research and due diligence, and roles at Just Freehold Energy Corp. managing projects and monitoring lease obligations. Kirsten holds a Graduate Entry LLB (Hons) from City, University of London and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Athabasca University.
