Marcin Gmerek has a diverse background in the hospitality industry. Marcin started their career with Marriott Int. in 2005 as an Operations Manager and worked there until 2007. Marcin then joined Fairfax Marriott at Fair Oaks, where they held the positions of Assistant Front Office Manager from 2007 to 2009 and Assistant Controller from 2009 to 2013. Marcin then moved on to White Lodging Services - Fairfax Marriott as a Controller from 2013 to 2017. Currently, they are working as the Director of Finance at Crescent Hotels & Resorts, a role they have held since October 2017.
Marcin Gmerek obtained their Masters of Arts degree in Tourism and Recreation from the Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego im. Eugeniusza Piaseckiego w Poznaniu. Marcin completed their education at this institution from 1997 to 2002.
