Brian Shimanek, CPA, currently serves as VP Corporate Controller at Crescent Energy since August 2021, bringing extensive experience in financial reporting, tax oversight, and corporate accounting from previous roles, including Director of Financial Reporting, Consolidations & Tax at QEP Resources. At QEP Resources, Brian managed SEC-related filings, led internal and external reporting strategies, and interacted closely with executive leadership on strategic decisions. Prior to this, Brian held positions at Frontier Oil and Molson Coors Beverage Company, focusing on SEC filings and internal report management. Brian began their career as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, working with a diverse range of industries. Brian holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Kansas.
