Heather Kels is the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Crescent Communities since December 2007. Heather oversees corporate accounting, internal and external reporting, SEC-like reporting, debt compliance, compensation plan administration, accounts payable, and treasury operations. In addition, Heather facilitated the 2018 sale of the company and was primarily responsible for the calculation of the purchase price. Prior to Crescent Communities, Heather worked at Wachovia Bank as an Assistant Vice President in Corporate & Investment Banking Finance, and at Reznick Group as an Audit Senior. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from West Virginia University.
