Amy Dickerson currently serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for K-2 at Crescent City Schools, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Amy accumulated extensive experience in educational leadership at ENCORE Academy from July 2018 to May 2023, where responsibilities included Director of Curriculum and Instruction for PK-4, Literacy Coordinator, and 2nd grade Teacher. Prior experience encompasses lead teaching roles at Homer A. Plessy Community School and New Orleans College Prep, where Amy also took on roles such as grade level chair and contributed to data analysis and curriculum decision-making. Amy began their teaching career in 2011 with teachNOLA and has also worked with Growing Scholars Educational Center and the Institute of Reading Development. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Saint Louis University.
