James Slice, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. James currently serves as a Senior Electrical Project Engineer at Crenshaw Consulting Engineers since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Electrical Department Manager at H2L Consulting Engineers from January 2019 to July 2022. Before that, James worked at Duke Energy Corporation for over a decade, starting as a Senior Engineer in March 2007 and then transitioning into the role of Senior Electrical Design Engineer. Throughout their career, James has gained expertise in calculation creation and maintenance, instrument uncertainty, equipment aging management, control systems, instrumentation, and design and analysis for medium to large voltage equipment. James also has experience in managing preventative maintenance programs with a focus on risk management and economy.

James Slice, P.E. obtained an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Clemson University, where they attended from 2004 to 2006. James has obtained multiple certifications as a Professional Engineer (PE) from various institutions, including the Alabama Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, the Arkansas State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers, the Ohio Engineers and Surveyors Board, the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, the Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners, the Florida Board of Professional Engineers, the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors, the Mississippi Board of Licensure for PEPLS, the Georgia Board of Professional Engineers and Surveyors, the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, the Labor, Licensing and Regulation, South Carolina Department of, and the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Surveyors. These certifications were obtained between 2017 and 2022.
